Baby Boomer Generation protests on campus
I have just spent some time listening to some talks by Mario Savio, some from the 60s and others more recent. Once again I felt the old protest juices begin to flow. The 60s was not all flower power and Woodstock. There were some very substantial, society changing thinking and action that took place on university campuses across the country, in fact the world. For those who want to remember how the protest movements of the 1960s played out, I offer four universities recollection of those events.
- University of Michigan
- University of California at Berkeley
- Student Demands and University Failures at University of California at Berkeley and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale
- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
